Megha Sarkar’s story is one such reminder.
A young girl who had just completed her KG II, Megha was ready to begin Grade 1 at Brilliant Stars School. Like many children, she had dreams, curiosity, and the excitement of moving forward in her education.

Having lost her father, Megha depended on her grandfather and aunt for support. Her grandfather, a retired man, stretched his limited pension to provide for her. However, as his health worsened and medical expenses increased, continuing her education became impossible. Her aunt, too, was no longer in a position to help.

Her school fees remained unpaid, and despite the school’s understanding and flexibility during the difficult post-pandemic period, there came a point where waiting was no longer enough.
Without intervention, Megha’s education would have stopped—not because she lacked potential, but because she lacked support.

Through the efforts of the school and the kindness of the Breeze of Joy Foundation, Megha’s case was brought forward. The Foundation stepped in to sponsor her education, covering her annual charges, tuition fees, and transportation costs.
