A Movement Born
From Conviction
Breeze of Joy Foundation was founded in 2021 by Joy Sobhanian and Dr. Soha Sobhanian in Fullerton, California. Both founders come from cultures where the education of women was often sidelined — where social and religious barriers made access to schooling far more difficult for girls.
These lived experiences shaped their unshakeable belief: a society can only truly advance when women and men are empowered equally. Dr. Sobhanian pursued education to the highest levels, and witnessing its transformative power instilled in her a deep responsibility to give back.
Today, Breeze of Joy operates entirely through volunteers — our founders, board members, and supporters give their time, skills, and resources freely. Not one dollar from your donation pays a salary or rent.

Our scholarships are comprehensive — covering everything a girl needs to focus on learning. We go beyond academics because we know that a hungry child cannot study, and an unsafe child cannot thrive.
But our mission extends beyond academics. We focus on nurturing physical, moral, and spiritual growth — helping each student build resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the world.
