Tahireh Thampi Kuehn is an experienced educational leader and Principal of MYIS International School, where she has been serving since August 2022. Under her leadership, the school has experienced significant growth, expanding from an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) institution to entering candidacy for the Middle Years Programme (MYP), reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and forward-thinking education. With over 14 years of experience in education, Tahireh began her career as an Early Years teacher in Thailand before continuing her work internationally in New Delhi, India, where she taught at the American Embassy School. Her global experience has shaped her inclusive and student-centered approach to education, fostering environments where young learners can thrive both academically and personally. Tahireh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Teaching from the University of Melbourne and a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Instructional Coaching from Clemson University. She further strengthened her leadership expertise by completing the Certificate in School Management and Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to becoming Principal, she served as the PYP Coordinator at MYIS, where she played a key role in curriculum development and program growth. She is deeply passionate about building collaborative communities where students, educators, and families work together to achieve meaningful outcomes. At Breeze of Joy Foundation, Tahireh brings her dedication to education, leadership, and global perspective to support initiatives that empower young people and expand access to learning opportunities. She believes every child is capable of achieving great things and is committed to helping create pathways for students to reach their fullest potential.
