HER STORY
Parmita is a bright and promising young girl from Manu Bazar village in Sabroom, South Tripura. Currently studying in Grade 2 at New Era English Medium School, she is known for her strong academic ability and genuine dedication to learning.
Her father, Dipak Das, works as a daily laborer, earning a living through hard, inconsistent work to support the family. Her mother, Anjali Sukla Das, does what she can to help manage the household on that same limited income. Despite their efforts, meeting the ongoing costs of Parmita's education, tuition, books, uniforms, and transportation, has become an increasing struggle.
Despite these challenges, Parmita remains focused on her studies and continues to perform very well in school. In her community, many children are unable to continue their education due to financial hardship, and families are often forced to make impossible choices. But Parmita stands at a point where the right support can change her path completely.
