Shatarupa

HER STORY

Shatarupa has been at Brilliant Stars School since nursery class, and is now in Class 7. She has performed well academically throughout, putting steady effort into both individual and group work, and her teachers describe her as calm, gentle, and well-cultured, always courteous and respectful toward staff and fellow students. She carries out any responsibility given to her with full commitment, and has real leadership qualities. She's also a member of the school choir and a good artist who enjoys painting.

Due to a serious financial crisis at home, Shatarupa's father had wanted to withdraw her and move her to a government school with lower fees. The school, unwilling to lose such a talented and well-cultured student, met with her father to look for another way. A sponsorship to cover her school expenses is what keeps that door open, letting her stay where her talents are already being recognized and developed.
